Nostradamus - Letter to Ceasar

The letter to Caesar is one of the books of Nostradamus printed by Pierre Rigaud from 1558 to 1566 in Lyon, France. These texts come from the original transcription of Nostradamus's writings of Le Pelletier's version (1867), which respected the entirety of the defects of words and syntax so as not to erase coding, without adding or removing anything.

¹ YOUR LATE advent Caesar Nostradamus my son, made me, for a long time, by continuous vigilances of night nights in order to avoid referring to you in my writings to be able to transfer my memory, after the bodily extinction of your progenitor, for the common benefit of humans, of what the Divine essence by Astronomical Revolutions have given me to know.

² And since it pleased The Eternal God that you came to light (because of your nature) on this Earth, is not a plague, and I do not mean that you still have years to be unaccompanied. But before the coming of your Martial months (under the name of March), you would not have been unable to receive what I write before your understanding deems stupid by society of what I would have been forced after my days to define as such: ³ society's fault is that it is not possible to leave you in writing, which would be an insult to their intelligence because of a time when what I speak is forbidden to say this or that; for the prophetic word used for my predictions ensures that the dates of events will be hidden, for I must have swallowed my forbidden classified words.

⁴ Considering also the human adventure which is definitely uncertain, and that the whole is governed and governed by the power of God which is priceless, inspiring us not by bacchante fury, nor by lymphatic movement, but by great affirmation of the prophets.

⁵ Only the power of God could have submerged in you with his wisdom and could create in you a particularly prophetic being.

⁶ How many long I have written, several times, that I have predicted long before what has happened with you, and in a particularly remote region like Quebec, attributing all that I have predicted? It is certain that this was done by virtue and by inspiration from God. ⁷ Not to mention that the other happy adventures and other sinister adventures, which I have prophesied, are accelerated promptly (when they are well received) and are so pronounced that since then came these social climates that have tried to silence me and which have abandoned me because of insults according to their intelligence. ⁸ This has happened not only in my present time, but also for the greater part of the coming future, that to uncover these writings is a danger for the reigns, sects and religions to pass the bill on to the prophets and peoples if they do not act contrary to what they are currently heading towards. They should see to the respect of the prophets of the present times, and this with integrity.

⁹ It is only that if I referred to you explicitly, what will happen in future times, those of kingdoms, sects and religions and those who have the Christian faith will find these writings so evil, because they value what amuses the eye. Let them come to damn what we will hear, what we will know, what we will see and the truth that we will see in the centuries to come, by your hand.

¹⁰ Considering also the sentence of the true Savior Jesus: “Do not give the holy things to the dogs and do not throw the pearls before the swine, lest they trample them at their feet and turn against you, they will tear you apart.” It was this passage from the holy Bible that caused me to refrain from speaking to the public, and to write.

¹¹ Then I did not want to spread your word for fault that for the common coming, because of obstructed and perplexed sentences about the future causes, even the most urgent, and those I have seen, that the story of the mutation of your soul does not scandalize those who pose a fragile look on the case, that the whole thing is written and figures only when you are nubile (in marriage age, adult) since the whole thing is prophetic.

¹² How many times have you hidden these things from the wise and the prudent, that is, to the powerful and the kings; but that you have revealed them to the small and the weak, and to the prophets by the means that you have given the Eternal God, and that as for you as for the good Angels who have received the spirit of vaticination by which only the good Angels can see things far away and come to foresee future events.

¹³ For nothing can be completed without the Lord, to whom his great power and the goodness of his servant subjects act when He remains in their hearts. However, for the other people who are subjects servants for the similar cause of common sense as far as you are concerned, this cause will be warmly received in them and they will get the spirit of vaticination as they get friendly to us. ¹⁴ As it happens that people can also receive some rays of sun (of light in them) just as in life these rays touch the elementary and non-elementary bodies (warms the souls).

¹⁵ As for us who are human, we cannot bring anything beyond our knowledge that is not in our nature, but with you will come the inclinations of know-how, enough to make spacecraft, and we will know secrets that otherwise we had no access only through the vision of God the Creator, transmitted in you. For it is not up to us humans to know the times, nor the times, etc., as the prophets know.

¹⁶ How much that also in the present people can become and be an important person, by which God the creator wanted to reveal through creative documents some secrets of the happening, grant to judicious astrology, as in the past that it happened that a certain power of great will came to them to give them faculties, as happened in the Sinai Mountain, a bush of fire appears to Moses and inspired him deeply to judge that the Egyptian deities were false at the same time that some human works were full of lies too.

¹⁹ But as for the occult vaticinations that one comes to receive by the subtle baptism of the spirit of fire which sometimes by its controversial understanding, that it is only by contemplating God, as if to be vigilant, that otherwise it is akin to the same things as Wiccan pronunciations, and you will be surprised that these Wiccan writings pronounced themselves without constraint too, just as for the baptism of the spirit of fire which is less attractive than morally displaced invented codes. ²⁰ But in any case, if everything preceded the divine power of the great Eternal God, from whom all goodness precedes, it would be gratifying and good.

²¹ Again, my son, may I have inserted the prophet’s name into this letter, but I do not want to give myself such a title because of the limited recognitions for the things high for the present time: the prophet, today in your time, are people whom supposedly they exchange with the Father by emptying the goodness for which Jesus was buried and raised from the dead¹. ²² For the true Prophet that you are my son is the one who sees things far from the natural evolution of the knowledge of all creatures.

²³ And the case should the Prophet, as you are, with the perfect light of the gift of prophecy that clearly appears to him from divine things, as humans cannot do, in your case, divine things want the effects of the prediction of the future to extend far.

²⁴ For in the secrets of God, those who are incomprehensible at first sight, but with the effector virtue understood by a Prophet like you, we can see over a long span of time the evolution of natural knowledge, learning this knowledge on a horizon of very close time in relation to their origin in time … only if your thought is free, ²⁵ as God has made appear in yourself the intelligence to find the causes of mental illness appear in you that these causes can only be known by that of the new (the newsletter) to be known with free thought by you, and not by humans who augur free thought, nor by those who hide these virtues: ²⁶ it is understood that by the conviviality of Heaven, even in the present facts, fully considering your eternity, that it comes from us that people will have to love you continually for progress to be done as well.

²⁷ But with someone thinking you’ll be inseparable in eternity, because of the committees that make controversial remarks about you, thinking and jealous of your Herculean life, these causes initiated by people of bad omen are known.

²⁸ Do not say it [military secret] my son, that of course only in the end, that knowledge of this military secret which cannot yet be conceived by your brain perceived as fool by a certain mass of persons, so that the future causes far away are only the work of the moderate knowledge towards the so-called reasonable creature, such as humans, for example: ²⁹ if humans are notwithstanding simply the creature (person) chosen by the Holy Spirit and concerned with the present on distant subjects, which are not hidden from it, nor too tight in time, then at this time individuals of humanity, without saying which ones, will receive military secrets when the time is right.

³⁰ But the perfect solution of the causes of illness discussed in the form of new sent, is possible only by that of divine inspiration: ³¹ it is for all prophetic inspirations that the true Prophet receives taking in these inspirations his main idea through the action of God the Creator, and then comes the time to be transmitted and the natural understanding of things relating to these inspirations.

³² By which these are causes that people cannot remain indifferent to their regards, produced similarly and not produced explicitly, as stated in the omen part of page 137 (of the publisher Le Pelletier), as has been predicted (³³ Century VII quatrain 14 : « Century VII quatrain 14: “False oral presentations will come from electronic channels, people will believe like jugs to these fake copies and open wars: ³⁴ Polluting by sects, feigned by calling your writings by the diminutive ‘holy philosophy,’ leaving to believe in white or black magics, and for ecological reasons become old steps in relation to so-called new progress.”)

³⁵ For the understanding created by the Holy Spirit cannot allow a person to be blind, except that if the person goes through the way to become stamped by disobeying the Lord, in which this path is partly the future causes that will be part of the Martial inclinations.

³⁶ And also, my son, I beg you more than ever that you do not want to use your understanding to such nonsense and vanities that burn bodies and lose the benefit of the Holy Spirit, giving trouble to those who are weak in faith and who are in quest of meaning: ³⁷ even the vanities of the most execrable magic once reproached by the Holy Scriptures by the apostles (to whom the judgment of judicious Astrology belongs: by which, with inspiration and a divine relationship through continual, albeit approximate, assessments, we have our prophecies authorized by the new custom of been authorize to be wrote). ³⁸ And how many times that the hidden thoughts of philosophy were not tested, I never wanted to present these frantic arguments. How many volumes that have been hidden for many centuries have manifested themselves towards me.

³⁹ But doubting what would happen, what I did after the present reading about Vulcan, that however, if it were to be read, the flame licking the air would render an unusual clarity, clearer than the natural flames as read as light of fire on the illustrious Lys dazzling, subtly illuminating the house of Israel The Great: as if it were put suddenly in conflagration.

⁴⁰ That is why so that the future does not fuse abused by people, striking the perfect transformation both saline and solitary, and the underside of the Earth about incorruptible metals, and on the waves, I have converted them to ashes these notes [knowing that only you know what I am talking about in this paragraph].

⁴³ Granting the heavenly people of these places, and granting some of the time to the secret intellectual property acquired by virtue and power, and granting by divine faculty in the presence of which the three times are understood by eternity, and the revolution of this world which belongs so much to the cause of the past, present and future: ⁴⁴ because all things are shown and already discovered in some way in heavenly places.

⁴⁵ That is why my son, you can easily, notwithstanding your tender brain, that the things that must come from your research can only be prophesied by heavenly secret and light, which are natural in some way, only by the spirit of prophecy:

⁴⁶ It is not that I want to give myself nominations or prophetic effects to your discoveries, but I must let these things happen only by an inspiration that will be revealed to you in time as in time: ⁴⁷ I am like a mortal man distant in time and it must make sense to Heaven what I write, keeping my feet on the ground as I write these lines.

⁴⁸ I cannot afford to let these things drag, neither the divine plan fails, nor be abused at the same time, for I am a sinner greater than any other in this world, subject to all human afflictions.

⁵⁰ It is possible that some find them cheeky: but seeing an extension of time, from the underside of the Earth, of all the design of the moon that will take place and the intelligence to come, it is worth it: ⁵¹ and on that the understandings will vary universally and throughout the earth on the causes to come, my son, that if you live your natural age in humans, ⁵² you will have to do all your homework to maintain a good climate, knowing that you belong to heaven proper considering your nativity, and future causes will be to be expected.

⁵³ How many times must we repeat to people that the Lord is the only Eternal God (ref.: the Holy Bible, Deuteronomy 6:4) and that it is only he who knows eternity given his light, proceeding by himself, and I say this frankly only to those who by their swollen heads, who are a measureless and behave incomprehensibly, ⁵⁴ how many times I have wanted for long breaths, to reveal their melancholy, explaining that it is by means of that of a secret cause manifested divinely, mainly on two main causes, including their understandings which are also understood in the understanding of one who yearns for divine things and prophesies, ⁵⁵ the difference is that one of these causes comes to infused science, clarifying how supernatural (celestial) light can be accessible only to the character who predicts by the doctrine of the stars and who prophesies by what divine inspiration has made him reveal, ⁵⁶ from which is in a way a certain participation of the Lord, with the prophet coming to judge the origin of that word that his mind imbued with divine things given by the means of God the Creator and by a natural instigation in your case.

⁵⁷ If people wonder if what was predicted is true, and where it originated, they will have to understand ether: ⁵⁸ such is the light of the Lord for it to be effective, there must be levels of ether bounded by borders, from the celestial kingdom to the chaotic kingdom, without less than I know,, ⁵⁹ is that the natural clarity of natural light as known in this world reassures philosophers so much if only natural, they believe themselves natural, whereas by the principles of the first explanation (see text highlighted above), ⁶⁰ philosophers have reached the deepest abyss by moving away from the highest doctrines of the Holy Bible.

⁶¹ But compared to the doctrine of the end, my son, whom I do not understand too deeply in relation to that of the governing understanding of your ability which is mature in the sense that you give it, ⁶² also that I find that your letters will be of incomparable greatness no matter what the cost, that I find that the world before the universal conflagration to come, will have avoided so many floods, and high floods, that there would have been no war on land that was not covered with water, ⁶³ and it will be avoided as long as your secret information is put out of the reach of the Internet and computers so that these secrets, if discovered, will kill humanity.

⁶⁴ Thus, before such floods occur and after this danger has passed, in several lands the plagues you bring will be so burning, and so great abundances of fire and meteorites will fall from the sky that there will remain nothing that is not consumed by fire: ⁶⁵ this will happen if your life is short, before the last conflagration arrives (for it must be repeated, that the planet of the Emperor March, that is to say the Earth, must complete its century until the end of the last period [after the great tribulation until 2058]), ⁶⁶ if God will take back March:

⁶⁷ But I tell people to assemble each other in Atlantis² for several years for the times to come, ⁶⁸ for others who say who will go into Paradise will delay things to come by creating longer expectations and so that these expectations continue.

⁶⁹ And now that we are led by the Chief of the Moon, the Honorable March, with the total investigation and power of Eternal God, that before this Moon ceases to exist, the Sun will come to tire of it, and as much to say that Satan’s reign will come to an end.

⁷⁰ For according to the heavenly signs, Satan’s reign will be back in your time, all calculated by me, demonstrates that the world is approaching analogies made by gossip tellers:

⁷¹ That from your present time (your date of birth), this letter is written before 177 years, 3 months, 11 days⁴, ⁷² and pestilence (coronavirus), followed by a long famine, in addition to wars, in addition to floods, all because the world entered a phase of merciless⁵. ⁷³ If your reign doesn’t come for happiness⁶, as humans will have the opportunity many times, this world at the out of date will be so diminished and so few people will be (after this consequence of non-reign), that one will not find during a truce no one who does not want to work in the fields (of which these fields will become free as long as they have been in bondage).

⁷⁴ And this quest for March with the visible celestial judgment that will take place, that we must be at the seventh number of thousands which at this future date March completes everything by approaching the eighth thousand, ⁷⁵ where is the firmament of the eighth sphere (otherwise world) which is in the latitudiary dimension, where the Great Eternal God will come to complete the revolution, where the images of heavenly paradise will become known again, and with the movement that reigns there, ⁷⁶ but it should be noted that a heavenly world that gives us a stable and firm land here, this heavenly world cannot be raised without an end (apart from the fact asking to the Lord is will is absolutely essential and this will not happen without the whole being accomplished, and no other will be the case).

⁷⁷ How many times this has happened⁷ by unfounded and superficial opinions in relation to all the natural reasons obtained by the Mathometical dreams (from Mathias⁸), and also that no time God the Creator has done by the ministers of his messengers of fire (Angels), ⁷⁸ end a missive, ⁷⁹ without the coming of it to propose to the foreign senses even in our eyes, that the causes are revealed by future predictions, signifying in the event that a future prophet who must be the one who makes these omens (predictions) will certainly manifest themselves?

⁸⁰ For the omen of the outer light comes infallibly to be judged in part with his prophet. And with the excess of light we receive from God the Creator, let us ask ourselves the question: ⁸¹ « “how much is really that the divine part is involved in what seems to have been transmitted through the eye, and through an understanding?” It is not through the folly of the brain that affects the reasoning of his prophet through his imaginative sense.

⁸² The prophet’s reason manifests itself with too much evidence if one reads the following. It must be said that everything a prophet does, the whole must be predicted by an affiliation with the deity. ⁸³ Therefore, in your case, this bond by affiliation is already established by your angelic spirit that you received at birth, inspired by your original heavenly places⁹, thus prophesying by the grace of God, and not for lack of reason. ⁸⁴ People will realize that prophecies are anointed with the spirit of vaticination that a prophet receives, allowing him to come to guess the future and illuminate the vision, and by moving him to take the head, over things that come from fantasy. ⁸⁵ So, as for me, this comes to various nocturnal periods that are apparitions that last until the daytime period, and therefore, it is not hallucinations (since very long), and it is seen with certainty that what I prophesy by this means, while knowing that it is clear that when calculating by means of astronomical behavior combined with the sanctification of the Almighty, so we manage to make predictions about the future, ⁸⁶ by considering only courage in ourselves, to be judged by the common man, knowing that the prophets of which we are, are free, not slaves of a mental illness.

⁸⁷ It comes from itself, knowing that at this hour, to whom, like people will want to hear it, that my son, I find by my calculated revolutions, that they tend to be accorded, to be revealed by divine inspiration, that the mortal sword approaches us humans by plague, wars (more horrible than those lived by the lives of three men that were before you), and starvation, ⁸⁸ which this mortal sword will fall on Earth, and will often return there as a plague that lasts ( ⁸⁹ for the Stars agree that time resolved, and immediately said done):

– ⁹⁰ “I will repress their iniquities with an iron rod and punish them with lashes.” (According to the Bible) ⁹¹ This because God’s mercy will not be for a scattered flock, humans have had enough time. ⁹² I tell you this, my son, so you may know that most of my prophecies, those of the Bible and yours¹⁰, will be accomplished by a form of accomplishment that is meant to be attributed to bygone (calculated) periods.

– ⁹³ Then, many times during the sinister storms, you will be confused, for as the Lord will say, “I will trample them at your feet, I will break them, and I will have no pity for them.”

⁹⁴ There will be a thousand and one adventures that will come because of them (men), in addition to the continual rains until flooded as in Noah’s time. As people are more complaining, they will say that I wrote this book more for my business than for all the other people. ⁹⁵ But my prophecies that are composed throughout this book are written voluntarily in prose (without rules of versification), limiting by far the feasible interpretation by the enemies of Jesus, in all regards the places, times and terms identifying the organizations¹¹ that humans, after the times come for such events, they will see¹². It is only by knowing the adventures that have come infallibly that they will see the truth of these writings ( ⁹⁶ as we have noted by the other noble adversaries who have come to speak to me, it is therefore necessary to understand more clearly, notwithstanding that under the cloud of people who will be aware of your coming, that it is clear that these adversaries are doing actions misunderstood by their lack of intelligence: ⁹⁷ therefore, these prophecies will only be understood when the time comes when their bad behaviors will dissipate, leading them to ignorance of the ongoing human cause, a cause from which it will be clarified¹³ in the coming times).

⁹⁸ In doing so, we are at the end of the letter. ⁹⁹ My son, therefore, take this gift from your father Michael Nostradamus, hoping that you will declare in your documents up to date for your time, a concordance to each of the prophecies of the quatrains here inserted, ¹⁰⁰ praying, like all of us, Immortal God, that He will lend you a long, healthy and rich life of prosperous events that will make you happy.
